Inside the Walls of Big Law: Coaching for Trust, Presence, and Career Transformation

In the marble-floored offices of major international law firms — the ones with several dozen lawyers in their Romanian branches alone — performance isn’t just expected. It’s revered.

These are places where legal minds work at lightning speed, where silence in the hallway often hides exhaustion, and where being “fine” is the only acceptable answer.

Over the past year, I’ve been called “The Lawyers’ Coach.” Not by design — but by clients. One after another, senior associates and partners have come my way through confidential referrals. They come not because they’re weak. But because something in their inner world is being slowly eclipsed by the weight of what they carry.

Case 1: The Burnout That Looked Like Discipline
